interpack 2026 is the global flagship trade fair for processing and packaging, taking place at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, from 7–13 May 2026. It brings together the full packaging value chain—packaging machinery and equipment, packaging materials, packaging means and aids, and confectionery processing technologies—and is widely regarded as the industry’s key marketplace for innovation, investment decisions, and international networking.
The 2026 edition is positioned as a strongly future-focused show, built around three official “Hot Topics”: Smart Manufacturing (automation, robotics, AI, data-driven production, and resource efficiency), Innovative Materials (recyclable and bio-based materials, monomaterials, functional coatings, and circularity), and Future Skills (workforce transformation, training, and capabilities needed for new technologies and sustainable operations).
