Budenheim, October 12, 2026   – BERICAP will showcase closure solutions addressing evolving consumer needs and packaging requirements at BrauBeviale 2026 in Nuremberg. From November 10 to 12, visitors can explore the latest developments in sport caps, carton and aluminium closures, RefPET solutions and a new dispensing concept for beverage enhancers at its new location in Hall 7A, Stand 541.

Expanded Sport Cap Portfolio

The portfolio covers all relevant neck finishes, including the lightweight GME 30.40.

BERICAP’s sport caps offer one-handed use, a 180-degree opening angle and high flow rates. The one-piece Biarritz has an intuitive design, while the two-piece premium Monet features a contrasting tamper-evidence ring and a window that indicates whether the bottle has been opened. Both are suitable for dry and wet aseptic filling and made from mono-material HDPE for efficient recycling.

The range also includes Crystal with an optional BERICAP Valve. The silicone-free TPE valve enables controlled pouring, clean shut-off and a lower risk of leakage and can be separated in the PET recycling stream.

Clean Cap and Clip Cap 23/27 for Carton Packaging

For dairy and juice cartons, the market-proven Clean Cap 23 and tethered Clip Cap 23 combine easy handling with reliable product protection. Clean Cap 27 and Clip Cap 27 add a larger opening and higher pouring capacity, giving carton producers and fillers greater flexibility.

Lightweight and RefPET Closures for a Circular Economy

BERICAP reduces closure and neck weight while maintaining product integrity, handling and line performance. Mono-material concepts and designs with fewer loose parts also support recycling and waste reduction. The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) sets binding and gradually increasing reuse targets for the beverage sector – from 10% in 2030 to 40% by 2040. BERICAP’s RefPET range is designed to support refillable bottle systems. Its robust two-piece closures feature tailored liners, lightweight designs and customizable branding, with a tamper-evidence band engineered to remain attached to the closure during opening so that bottles can proceed through repeated collection, washing, refilling and recapping cycles.

Liqproof 24 for Enhanced Brand Protection

For the spirits and liquor market, BERICAP Aluminium will present Liqproof 24, a security closure with advanced anti-counterfeiting and anti-refill features. Its highly customizable aluminium shell supports premium decoration while helping brands protect product integrity and strengthen shelf appeal.

Outlook: New Solutions for Beer and Beverage Enhancers

With its MCA 28×15 aluminium closure range, BERICAP has entered the beer and sparkling wine segment, extending its offering across beverage applications.

BERICAP will also preview a clipped hinge closure with a silicone-free valve for the growing beverage enhancer category. Concentrates let consumers prepare drinks as needed, reducing packaging and product waste and avoiding heavy ready-to-drink bottles. Further details will be available at the stand.

“Beverage packaging must be easy to use, reliable on the filling line and designed for a more circular future,” says Albrecht von Leonhardi, Sales Director Beverage Closures at BERICAP. “At BrauBeviale, we will present practical solutions for sport drinks, cartons, refillable PET and emerging categories such as beverage enhancers.”
